CancerCare launched Cupcakes for a Cause in 2004 by enlisting a small group of bakeries in NYC to sell specially-decorated cupcakes to raise funds for the CancerCare for Kids program

Cupcakes for a Cause raises funds for CancerCare's free, professional support services for children and families affected by a cancer diagnosis. Taking place in September, during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, all are welcome to participate in two easy ways.

  1. Send an e-Cupcake: Create your own e-Cupcake and send it to your friends and family for free! Presenting sponsor göt2b is donating $1 for every e-Cupcake sent, up to $20,000, from September 6–30, 2011. Send an e-Cupcake in September!
  2. Host a Cupcakes for a Cause® Bake Sale: Businesses, community and student groups, and individuals across the country host bake sales throughout the fall and donate the proceeds to CancerCare. Learn more...
