Cupcakes for a Cause - Bakery Signup

During the week of October 20–26, 2008, CancerCare is asking bakeries around the country to sell selected cupcakes and donate a portion of sales to the CancerCare for Kids program. All money raised will be used to support our free counseling services for any child who is affected by a cancer diagnosis—either their own or that of a family member.

CancerCare launched Cupcakes for a Cause in 2004 by enlisting a group of New York City bakeries to sell specially decorated cupcakes to raise funds for the CancerCare for Kids program.

Over the past four years, Cupcakes for a Cause has grown into a week-long event, held every October in cities and towns across the country thanks to the growing support of bakeries like yours!

In 2007, CancerCare raised more than $60,000, and received approximately 30 million impressions of media exposure. The fundraiser was featured in many media outlets such as the NBC Today Show, CBS Early Show, Fox Good Day NY, The Martha Stewart Show, The New York Times and others.
